WSF Junior Product Manager

Wematch is on a mission to lead the digital transformation of the largest industry in the world, global capital markets. Back in 2017, we created our award-winning solution which digitises dealing workflows with banks, clients, and internal teams. Our tools, which include smart matching, negotiation, lifecycle management, Sales-to-Trader, and intra and external flows, drive efficiencies across financial institutions’ operations.

Our Platform is used by 1000+ dealers at 85 financial institutions across the globe and features several asset classes, including Securities Finance, Interest Rates Swaps and Equity Derivatives. Over the past couple of years, we have raised more than $30m in equity funding from global financial institutions and VCs to fuel our global expansion.

We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Product Manager to join our Securities Finance Product Team. The successful candidate should have a good understanding of the Derivatives trade confirmation workflow, and preferably with a background in Legal.

The Product Manager will lead the change transformation throughout the project lifecycle. From defining a vision and a roadmap to writing specifications and technical documentation to successfully defining and implementing new features, the team’s mission is to develop a high-end product and to provide innovative and efficient solutions to the industry.

This role is instrumental as they face clients to understand their needs, engage new prospects to help sell our Platform, and work closely with developers to deliver the ultimate product.

This role will give you the opportunity to: 

• Assist in developing and improving our platform
• Assess and define our partner clients’ needs and translate those needs into technical specification documents for our dev team
• Manage and prioritise our ongoing book of work to ensure we meet key client deliverables on time and to their satisfaction
• Align interests of our cross-functional teams including sales, coverage and technology to ensure updates and new features on the platform are clearly defined, developed and delivered to the market
• Ongoing testing and continuous improvement of platform features, in close coordination with product managers, coverage teams, and tech developers.

A bit about you (the profile we are looking for):

• Legal background (Trade Confirmations)
• A working knowledge of the Total Return Swap product and ISDA trade confirmation workflow would be beneficial
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
• Ability and confidence to write and clearly define complex specification documents and to avoid ambiguity
• An interest and good knowledge of financial markets
• An understanding of the MCA (Master Confirmation Agreement) would be beneficial
• Innovative and creative mindset
• An eye for detail

• Strong commercial awareness
