Dear user! Wematch (‘We’ or ‘us’ or ‘Wematch’) values your privacy and wishes to let you know how it handles your personal information.

This privacy policy explains which personal information is collected about you via our website, as available at https://wematch.live/ (“The Website“), and how we process it. This policy also contains information on online identifiers we use (cookies’).

For the avoidance of doubt – Wematch is not selling your personal information and has not done so in the past 12 months. 

What does Wematch do?

Our website is mostly informative, as it enables you to receive information about our services, and to contact us when needed. 

Our services, in brief, comprise of a trading platform, provided as a web-based service to our Business Customers. The Platform allows our Business Customers’ traders to view, review and connect with other traders who share similar interests, to potentially conduct a trade (‘’The Services’’). These Services are not available through the Website. 

Children

The Website, in general, and the Services are not directed to individuals under 18. Wematch does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18, as it has no control over its Business Customers’ trader’s user permissions. If you are a parent of an individual under 18 and believe your child has provided personal information to Wematch, please contact us at [email protected].

What kind of information we collect?

Basically, Wematch’s website isn’t intended to collect Personal Information directly through the Website. Personal Information may be provided by you, on the following sections and occasions:

  1. Contact Us/ book a demo: By providing personal contact information or by sending an e-mail to the contact e-mail presented on the website, we shall collect the information you provide within the e-mail, and your contact information.
  2. Careers: By clicking on ‘apply’ next to a specific position posted on the Website, you shall be re-directed to your e-mail environment, on which you will be able to send us an e-mail regarding the relevant position.
  3. Online identifiers (e.g., Cookies, tags, etc.) – Used for operational reasons such as authentication, session persistence, data cache, etc. for more information about the online identifiers, please go to our Cookies Policy.

How and why do we collect information?

We mainly use the information collected to provide our Services and to operate the Website. The information may also be used to improve our The Website and our services, based on our legitimate interests. Either way, we do not share any of the information with third parties.

We shall only provide you with marketing and direct marketing materials according to your consent, when required by law.

You are not obliged to provide any of the information above, and its provision is solely based on your decision. 

Retention

We may retain your information for the period consistent with the original purpose of collection. For instance, we may keep contact details for the amount of time needed to handle your request, or for a longer period of time if necessary to maintain records, for complying with legal and regulatory duties, or to resolve future or ongoing disputes based on our legitimate interest to do so.

We use a limited number of third-party service providers, who act as our own service providers, and assist us in making our Website available. For example, we may share information with third parties who provide services to us, such as HubSpot. These third parties may access, process, or store the information while providing their services to us, and they may vary from time to time.

Structural Changes 

In any case of acquisition, merger or any other structural change, we may share the information collected, provided that the said entity shall undertake the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

You have the right, under law, to request the execution of the following rights, from the applicable Business Customer: ‘Right to Know’ – As a Californian resident, California law provides you the right to know what personal information about you has been collected, used, and disclosed. If any of the information is wrong or incomplete, you may ask to rectify it.

‘Right to Deletion’ – As a Californian resident, California law provides you the right to request the deletion of any personal information that has been collected about you.

Please we shall not discriminate against you for exercising any rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Consumer Rights Notice. Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, Wematch is required to provide California residents with the following specific consumer rights information:

As an EU/ UK individual, you may request to review, correct, update, delete Personal Information, restrict the processing of your Personal Information, object to the processing of your Personal Information, or receive an electronic copy of your Personal Information for purposes of transmitting it to another company (to the extent this right to data portability is provided to you by applicable law).

How do We keep information secure?

We use security measures designed to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. For certain services, data transfers are encrypted during transmission. In addition, information that we store is maintained and archived on secure, hardened servers that are hosted on industry standard secured data centers. Access to this information is protected by multiple layers of controls, including firewalls, role-based access controls, authentication mechanisms and monitoring. The information is backed up, and archives are stored in a secure location. Wematch is taking any reasonable action to keep your information safe. Nevertheless, Wematch is not responsible for any damages to the information, or to the functionality of the Platform, caused by reasons beyond its control, force majeure, cyber-attacks, pandemics, strikes, etc. 

International Transfers

The Website is a web-based service. We store and process information about you on servers and databases under appropriate safeguards according to applicable Data Protection Laws. For example:

  • For the US residents – the processing takes place in the United States.
  • For the EU/UK residents –   the processing takes place in the UK, under the required mechanisms and safeguards. 

Some international transferees of Personal Information might occur (e.g., from the EU to the US, and vice versa). In such case, they shall be exercised according to applicable Data Protection Laws under reasonable safeguards.

We may use your email address that you provide us, to send you messages about new features, Website/Platform updates, Services updates, etc. Some of the messages sent to your contact information may contain advertising content – You can easily opt-out from getting these messages by clicking the unsubscribe link following any opt-out instructions provided in that message. As an EU/UK individual, messages which contain advertising content, will be sent only after receiving your explicit consent.
