Wematch MTF Onboarding - FAQs

1) Which products will be executed through the Wematch MTF?

Wematch MTF will allow members to match and execute Total Return Swaps (TRS), Securities Lending & Borrowing (SBL), and Repurchase Agreements (Repos).

 

2) What is the Operator MIC code of the Wematch MTF?

The Operator MIC code of the Wematch MTF is WMSF.

 

3) What are the Segment codes of the Wematch MTF?

The Segment codes of the Wematch MTF are:

  • WMSW for Total Return Swaps (TRS)
  • WMSL for Securities Lending & Borrowing (SBL) and Repurchase Agreements (Repos)

 

4) Which legal entity will operate the Wematch MTF?

The Wematch MTF will be operated by Wematch.live FS Ltd (LEI : 984500DJ5C3EMDB7DD03), a regulated entity approved by the FCA (with Firm Reference Number 1019144) to operate a Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF).

7) Will Wematch do Transaction Reporting (RTS 22) on the trades executed through the MTF?

Wematch MTF will submit a Transaction Report (RTS 22) to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) when a transaction in a reportable financial instrument (Total Return Swap and not Repo and SBL) is executed through its systems by a Member not subject to UK MiFIR.

 

8) When will the Wematch MTF be active?

The Wematch MTF will be active on April 1st, 2026.

 

9) What happens to my current trades that are still open in Wematch as of April 1st, 2026?

All outstanding breakable KBLM trades will be unwound on KBLM and simultaneously reopened on the Wematch.live MTF on value date 1 April 2026 (settlement date 3 April 2026, with no settlement as all netted). This approach is designed to ensure a smooth and controlled operational transition with minimal disruption to your trading activity.

For the sake of clarification, non-breakable TRS trades still open on KBLM on April 1st will naturally mature on KBLM with no impact on the Wematch MTF.

 

10) Do I need to expect any change in the workflow?

No, we do not expect any change in the workflow, and Wematch users can continue to use the platform in the exact same way.

 

11) Will you change my login link?

Yes, updated login links will be sent on April 1st, 2026 in the morning.
